Together | Institutional Synergy
Collective landscapes of Transformation | Bogota | 2017
A mapping study in Bogota lead to an understanding that institutions such as schools and super markets make up a fundamental part of any neighbourhood and essentially drive all the daily routines, if those institutions collaborate then they potentially could change the patterns of living.

These kind of environments form new ecologies of overlapping domains within living, working, learning, shopping and everything that would still constitute a daily routine. The series of drawings evolve an understanding of the supermarket no longer being an immersive shopping location but extending itself and absorbing other activities which were not traditionally involved within its field. Thus playing a different role in gaining quality for the workspaces and living environments also shifting with the evolving trends of food consumption and production.

My key tasks involved, overall conceptual framework and organisation of the institutions and the role played by each. The exploration also included a study of precedents and deriving analysis from traditional markets of Bogota and contemporary supermarkets along with other services that can create a cross associational quality.
